Private Pier Construction

This 120’ x 8’ pre-stressed concrete slab pier was constructed using the “3” barge with a P&H 325 truck crane, equipped with a diesel piling hammer.  The steel pilings were driven to depth using a pile guide to ensure proper location and perfect parallels. The top coat of the pier was then poured onto rebar with a concrete bucket from an on deck concrete supply.  The pier was finished with a 40’ aluminum gangway to a 60’ steel float.
