During the typically slow summer months of the northeastern no-dredging season, BAI engaged in multiple small projects for state clients, wrapping up a small project for the Steamship Authority, and dredging the wet slips directly adjacent to the City of New Bedford’s newly rebuilt Coal Pocket fishing pier. Approximately 500 Cubic Yards were removed from the project area and deposited in the New Bedford CAD Cell 2. As the summer wanes into fall, BAI was the apparent low bidder for a dredging project with the USCG Academy in New London, CT, as well as a dredging project for the USACE dredging Plymouth Harbor. Both projects are still awaiting award and are scheduled to begin once the dredge season opens in October 2018.
