Scow THOMAS DESMOND Working in the Houston Ship Channel

BAI’s 3,000 CY Split-Hull scow THOMAS DESMOND has been chartered by Curtin Maritime since December 2022 working on the Houston Ship Channel Deepening Project for the US Army Corps of Engineers. Hundreds of thousands of cubic yards have been loaded into the THOMAS DESMOND for shallow water disposal operations relating to the project and the vessel performed without issue. THOMAS DESMOND is expected to come off-charter in July 2023 and will be available for future charters in August 2023
