Burnham Associates Installs new 76mm Gun on USCG Cutter Seneca

Burnham Associates, Inc was contracted by the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Boston to perform lifting operations relating to the upgrade of the 76mm bow gun of the Cutter Seneca. The spud barge TRINITY utilized a 110 ton Link Belt LS308H to perform the operation with support from push boats MANTIS and SCULLY to ensure stable operations. The old unit was removed from the foredeck of the Seneca and placed in a secure transport apparatus and the new unit was lifted and placed in the SENECA under USCG guidance.
